HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Global Herping Expeditions is the culmination of working with reptiles for a living and an insane amount of traveling around the world. For thirty years we’ve owned and operated one of the most successful educational traveling reptile zoos in the US. I don’t believe it would be possible to create a reputable herp tour company without a deep-seated knowledge of both reptiles and worldwide travel. We’ve done the work, logging hundreds of trips, domestically and internationally. We’ve slept in vans and tents, dealt with poison ivy, ticks, mosquitoes and all things that bite and sting. This wasn’t some business venture; it was born from a lifelong passion for the outdoors and a profound connection to nature. The tours are a way for us to share our love for nature with you!

WE PRODUCE RESULTS

while we can’t guarantee sightings of specific species, our familiarity with the area significantly increases our chances. We will focus our search in locations where we’ve observed these species before, acknowledging nature’s unpredictability. Furthermore, we often seek out the advice of local experts to lead us to areas where recent sightings have occurred.

You will not be charged a deposit or fee by filling out this application. It is simply a way to hold your reservation. If you plan on traveling with one or more persons, we only need the main applicant’s information at this time. Once you submit the application, we will contact you and collect all remaining details. You may cancel your reservation at any time and no fees are due until we receive final confirmation from the applicant. A deposit is not collected until you are ready to secure your reservation.
